Asslamu Alykum, Dear ICH Community,
The Islamic Center of Hawthorne (ICH) is seeking disciplined and highly responsible Armed Security Professionals to help provide a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for our Masjid and School in Hawthorne, CA. 🕌
We value the maturity, situational awareness, and quick decision-making skills developed through military service, law enforcement, corrections, or extensive professional security experience.
If you have a strong sense of responsibility, professional conduct, active California certifications, and a commitment to protecting people and property, we invite you to apply. ✅
📌 Requirements:
🔸 Experience: Minimum 2 – 3 years of verifiable experience in:
• Military (all branches)
• Law Enforcement
• Corrections
• High-level Armed Private Security
🔸 California Guard Card:
Must have an active and valid California BSIS Security Guard Registration.
🔸 Firearms Permit:
Must have an active and valid California BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit (with caliber listed matching the duty weapon).
🔸 Physical Fitness:
Ability to stand, walk, and respond to physical tasks for extended periods.
🔸 Communication Skills:
Strong verbal communication skills for public interaction and accurate written reporting skills.
🕒 Hours: Full-Time / Part-Time
💵 Compensation: $22 – $25 per hour (based on experience)
